Andrew Barnard

We are very sorry to announce the passing of Andrew, who was the very generous benefactor who donated the land adjacent to Cassocks to Hilcott Village Hall Trust in September 2021.

The provisions on the trust deed stated that the land be used for the the benefit of the community of North Newnton Parish and beyond. A plaque  commemorating  this gift of land was unveiled in June 2022

Barnard Meadow

March 2023

Now the weather is kinder we will be starting to clear, tidy and level the ground at Barnard Meadow. A successful site survey has been carried out with an environmental assessment to follow.

We shall use the grant funding we obtained from Local Giving for a skip to move the considerable amount of old rubbish from the land, and the matched funding from Pewsey Area Board for erection of fencing and gates on the site.

We can then move forward with the plan for a car park and community space. We intend in due course to have benches with commemorative plaques for respected and worthy residents of North Newnton parish.

End Of Amazon Smile

March 2023

Unfortunately Amazon have now stopped Amazonsmile as a fundraising medium. We are looking at other options, but in the meantime Easfundraising is still a great opportunity for supporters to shop at no cost to themselves.
